SpareSwing is operated by Intelligent Data Decisions, LLC d/b/a SpareSwing ("SpareSwing," "we," "us"). SpareSwing is an activity platform for private clubs: members post spare time, find playing partners, and clubs run their amenities. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to spareswing.com, platform.spareswing.com, and related SpareSwing services.
SpareSwing is a club community. Your profile (name, photo, skills, and anything you add to it) and your activity (postings, outings you join) are visible to fellow members of your club, and your club's admins manage their roster. Some things are always private by design: your private post-round answers and ratings are never shown to your club, its admins, or other members - they only tune your own recommendations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us run SpareSwing - cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), payment processing (Stripe, for club billing), and message delivery providers for the email and text alerts you request - and when required by law.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you requested.
Text alerts are optional and off by default. You opt in from your Profile by entering your mobile number and turning on text alerts. Messages are transactional club-activity alerts only - never marketing. Message frequency varies with your club activity and alert settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or turn the setting off in your Profile. Reply HELP or email hello@spareswing.com for help.
We send service emails (invitations, alerts you enabled, support replies, and account notices). You control alert emails from your Profile.
We keep information while your membership is active and as needed for the club records the service exists to provide. To correct or delete your information, ask your club's admin or contact hello@spareswing.com and we will respond promptly.
SpareSwing runs on Microsoft Azure with industry-standard encryption in transit, verified sign-in through Microsoft Entra, and access limited to what the service needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting club communities seriously.
SpareSwing is intended for adult members of private clubs and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the date above, and notify members in the app for significant changes.
